David Harshfield, MD

Dr. David L. Harshfield is a highly experienced and accomplished physician with a diverse background in integrative cellular medicine, radiology, and regenerative orthopedic medicine. He holds an impressive educational and professional track record, with degrees from Hendrix College and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.. Dr. Harshfield graduated with honors, earning a B.A. in Biology, an M.S. in Physiology/Biophysics, and a Medical Doctorate degree. With extensive specialty training in interventional and angiographic radiology, ultrasound, and musculoskeletal radiology, Dr. Harshfield has honed his expertise in various areas of medical imaging. He has also completed fellowships in Interventional and Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine (IROM), further advancing his knowledge in cutting-edge medical practices.

Dr. Harshfield is licensed to practice medicine in multiple states. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and holds additional certifications in stem cell collection, age management, and cosmetic cellular medicine.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Harshfield has held academic appointments at UAMS, where he served as an Instructor in UAMS Radiology, Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology, and Director of the Department of Vascular & Interventional Radiology. He has also been involved in various medical societies, including the American Medical Association, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and American Association of Orthopedic Medicine, among others.

He has a passion for teaching and has served as a faculty member for the AAOM Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT) Workshop. He has also delivered lectures on various topics related to Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, and Regenerative Medicine at medical schools and conferences.

Dr. Harshfield has an impressive list of publications in peer-reviewed journals, showcasing his expertise and contributions to the field of medicine. His publications cover a wide range of topics, including diabetes, insulin secretion, glucagon levels, vena caval filters, carotid atherosclerotic disease, and percutaneous biliary procedures, among others.
