Devang Padalia, MD

Dr. Devang Padalia is a highly experienced and accomplished physician with expertise in pain medicine, interventional pain management, and oncologic sciences. He currently serves as the CEO and Medical Director of the Pain & Wellness Institute, a private practice located in Tampa, FL. Dr. Padalia also holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in the Department of Neurology and Oncologic Sciences.

Dr. Padalia’s educational background includes a Medical Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Summa Cum Laude, from Florida State University. He completed his postgraduate and fellowship training at the University of South Florida, where he underwent a Pain Medicine Fellowship in the Department of Anesthesiology and served as a Resident Physician in the same department.

Throughout his career, Dr. Padalia has held various academic appointments, including Director of Lab Simulations for the Interventional Pain Fellowship and Site Director of Interventional Pain Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, both affiliated with the University of South Florida. He has also been involved in teaching medical students and residents, providing comprehensive training in anesthesia practice, pain management, and interventional techniques.

Dr. Padalia’s professional experience includes serving as Chief Medical Officer of Florida Medical Pain Management, a private practice in St. Petersburg, FL, and as Tenured Associate Member and Service Chief of Interventional Pain Medicine at Moffitt Cancer Center. He has been recognized for his expertise, holding board certifications from the American Board of Anesthesiology and Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Padalia is also licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine and has advanced certifications in cardiac and trauma life support.

Dr.Padalia’s areas of clinical interest include pain management for cancer patients, interventional pain procedures, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has published extensively in his field and has been involved in research projects and clinical trials. Dr. Padalia is fluent in English and Gujarati.
