Mike Stretanski, DO

Dr. Mike Stretanski holds primary board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Pain Management, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Additionally, he is among the few hundred Americans with an internationally recognized Board Certification in Interventional Pain Management, known as FIPP (Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice). Achieving FIPP required four exams in the United States, followed by a course and four more practical live exams in Budapest, Hungary. He also holds board certification with the A4M (American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine) and specializes in facial rejuvenation using Botox and Fillers. Furthermore, he is a Board Certified Independent Medical Examiner, and also a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for pilots and Air Traffic Controllers, military and civilian, at all levels and monitors pilots and other aerospace professionals.

Dr. Stretanski is a highly skilled and compassionate physician specializing in traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). With a strong commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Stretanski is dedicated to assessing, managing, and rehabilitating individuals who have experienced brain injuries. Through the integration of medical interventions, therapeutic approaches, and rehabilitation strategies, Dr. Stretanski strives to optimize functional abilities, improve cognitive function, enhance communication skills, and address emotional changes associated with TBIs. 

Dr. Stretanski has authored several journal articles. Some of his notable works include “Ultrasound Therapy” and “Foot Drop,” both published in StatPearls. He also co-authored an article on “Pilot Medical Certification,” which addresses the specific medical requirements and considerations for pilots. Another article, “Fluoroscopy Discography Assessment, Protocols, and Interpretation,” focuses on the assessment and interpretation of fluoroscopy discography. He has delved into the field of palliative care with an article on “Intracerebroventricular morphine for refractory cancer pain: transitioning to the home setting.” Additionally, he has written about the application of osteopathic philosophy in the treatment of acute respiratory failure and conducted research on nerve root tension signs and fluoroscopically guided spinal injections.
